his studio in Downtown Bellingham, WA, Peter James ventures out into the beautiful
Pacific Northwest, gathering a stunning array of photographs celebrating nature’s
majesty. As a traditionally trained and digitally savvy photographer, he brings
together the rich heritage of photographic expression with the unlimited possibilities
of modern imaging technology.
As an avid outdoorsman, Peter James’ extensive collection of landscape photographs is continually growing. As he hikes, kayaks, snowshoes, mountain bikes, scuba dives, and sails throughout Bellingham, Whatcom County and the Pacific Northwest, he invariably has his camera at the ready.
Peter James shoots with a Canon EOS 30D Digital SLR, EF-S 17-85mm 4-5.6 IS USM, 70-300mm 4-5.6 IS USM or Canon Pro1 with Ikelite housing for underwater photography. He uses Macintosh computers and Adobe Photoshop® CS3 to do minor editing.
